Ruben Escobar

Ruben Escobar, 64, entered eternal rest on Friday, September 7, 2022 at his residence in Edinburg. He was born on a Wednesday, January 8, 1958 in Edinburg Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; Nicolas Escobar and Antonia Hernandez Escobar.
Left to cherish his memories are his sisters; Sylvia Escobar, Rosa Solis and Rebecca Villarreal, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ruben lived in Edinburg all of his life and was considered an icon within the city of Edinburg. Ruben was a kind hearted, humble and loving person. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and he enjoyed helping everyone to the best of his abilities and always did so with a smile on his face. Many will remember Ruben for having a generous heart, being a caring soul and his sense of humor and always laughing or joking around. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
His family invites and welcomes all family and friends to a Memorial Mass being held in Ruben’s honor on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
