Rosa "Rosie" Elia Martinez Sanchez, 61, entered eternal rest on Friday, March 1, 2019 at her residence in San Juan, Texas. She was born on Monday, January 6, 1958 in Reynosa, Texas to Felipe Martinez and Guadalupe Guerrero. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Rosie is survived by her children; Luis Ricardo (Lorena) Sanchez, Ivan (Debra Garza) Sanchez, David De La Torre and Christine Rose (Jesus) Izaguirre, Jr., grandchildren; Luis Sanchez, Aaliyah Sanchez, Jesus Izaguirre, III, and Victoria Izaguirre, ex-husband; Ricardo Sanchez, numerous nieces and nephews.
She lived in the Rio Grande Valley most of her life and was a hair stylist for over 25 years. She enjoyed gardening and loved all kinds of flowers. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Val-Verde Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Donna, Texas. Funeral Services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
