Rolando Rene Flores

Rolando "Rollie" Rene Flores, 57, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born on Thursday, August 25, 1960 in Edinburg, Texas to Efrain Jose Flores and Guadalupe Alcoser Flores. He is preceded in death by his father.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 31 years; Esmeralda A. Flores, sons; Ramon (Lizette) Pena and Rolando "Rollie" Rene (Samantha Lisset) Flores, mother; Guadalupe A. Flores, sister; Yolanda Flores, brothers; Efrain J. (Norma) Flores, Jr. and Rudy Flores, grandson; Ryan Lee Pena, granddaughter; Alessandra Marie Pena, nephew; Eric Javier Flores, and niece; Amanda Marie Flores.
Rollie aka "Ro Flo" or "Hoss" as he was affectionately known, worked for Heldt Bros. for over 15 years and later with Key Energy for 15 years. He lived in Edinburg all of his life and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was an amazing husband, loving Father, loyal brother, obedient son, favorite uncle and friend to many. He enjoyed welding, bar-b-quing, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and family. Two of his favorite quotes were to "Live and Let Live" and "If we do not take "it" Serious, We will take "it" for granted. This is how he lived life, enjoying every moment and living life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
His family will receive family and friends today, Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Mario Benavidez, Phillip De Leon, Albert Elizondo, Raul Segovia, Raul Segovia, Jr., David Martinez, Michael Morales, Edgar Rios and Joe Rodriguez. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
