Lorenzo Salinas

Lorenzo Salinas, 93, entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at his residence in Edinburg. He was born on a Monday, September 5, 1927 in Edinburg, Texas to Maximino Salinas and Romana Salinas. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 68 years; Petra P. Salinas, children; Larry (Angelita) Salinas, Norma Nelda Rodriguez, Ricardo Salinas and Nadia (John) Gracia. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandson.
Lorenzo lived in Edinburg most of his life and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
The Salinas family will receive friends on Monday, May 31, 2021 from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg, Texas. Catholic Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 1302 E. Champion Street in Edinburg. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 E Richardson Road, Edinburg, Texas. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: John Gracia, Rafael Castillo IV, Efrain Contreras, Caleb Valenzuela, Homer Garcia, David Torres, Rene Torres and Nabor Cantu. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
