Lorenzo Munoz Moreno

Lorenzo “Lencho” Moreno, 87, entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Comfort House in McAllen. He was born on a Monday, February 19, 1934 in Edinburg, Texas to Jose Moreno and Luisa Munoz. He is preceded in death by his parents and son; Edoardo “Eddie” Pena.
Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 36 years; Rosalinda Rodriguez Pena, children; Norma Moreno, Lorenzo Moreno, Larry Moreno, Mario Moreno, Lora Dillard, Bernave Pena, Jr., Leticia “Letty” Trevino, Dalia Zuniga and Priscilla Pena. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Lorenzo lived in Edinburg most of his life. He was hard working man and worked for Broadway Hardware Store in McAllen for over 10 years. His love for music made him known as a “one-man band’ who enjoyed playing all over the valley. One of his favorite pass times was scratching lottery tickets. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and Staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
