Irene Soliz

Irene Soliz, 88, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg. She was born on a Tuesday, November 29, 1932 in Tilden, Texas to Pedro Sauceda and Maria Luisa Anzaldua Sauceda. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Ignacio Soliz, Sr., 7 - brothers, 5 - sisters, sons; Alberto Soliz and Rene Soliz.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Isabel (Jose) Castillo, Armando (Irene) Soliz, Yolanda (Alex) Garcia, Ignacio (Migdalia) Soliz, Jr., Anabel (Alberto) Quintero, Abel Soliz and Ruben Soliz. She is also survived by 26 - grandchildren, 60 - great-grandchildren, 5 - great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Irene lived in Edinburg all of her life and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and dancing. She will be dearly missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
