Daniel Torres

Daniel "Danny" Torres, 43, entered eternal rest on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born on Friday, November 1, 1974 in Edinburg, Texas to Jose Torres, Jr. and Rosa Sabedra Torres. He is preceded in death by his father and sister; Margarita Torres.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 23 years; Maria Petra Torres, daughter; Iliana (Omar Perez) Torres, Daniel "Danny" (Josephine Vargas) Torres, Jr., Leonardo Torres, and Juan Jose Torres, mothers; Rosa Torres, siblings; Rose Mary Rodriguez, Juan (Anabel) Torres, Angie (Alfonso, Sr.) Rodriguez, Benny (Elia) Torres, Sr., Celia (Jose) Aguilar, Elida (Allen) Krause, Jose Torres, III, twins; Alfredo Saucedo and Alex Saucedo, granddaughter; Arilene Yamilex Perez, numerous nieces and nephews.
Danny was a hard worker who always provided for his family. Danny will always be remember for his "Big Heart"! He would never say "No" to anyone and was always ready to help others before himself. Even through his sickness, he always taught us that family came first. He was a boxer in his younger years and even in the end, he continued to fight and battle with cancer. He will truly be missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.

His family will receive family and friends on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to Val-Verde Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Donna. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Daniel "Danny" Torres, Jr., Leonardo Torres, Juan Torres, Omar Perez, Alfonso Rodriguez, Jr., Alfredo Saucedo, Mark Garza and Benny Torres, Jr. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny "Tomas" Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home.
