Connie Renteria

Connie Renteria, 50, entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg, Texas. She was born on a Thursday, July 22, 1971 in Edinburg, Texas to Jesus Renteria, Sr. and Maria Anita Gomez Renteria.
Connie is survived by her son; Jonathon (Xylia Gonzalez) Mendez, parents, brothers; Jesus “Jesse” (Eva Benavidez) Renteria, Jr and Hector Renteria, sister; Hilda (Alfredo) Trevino, grandsons; Demarion J. Mendez and Lorenzo R. Mendez as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Connie was a caring and loving person, working with 4 Genesis Primary Home Care as a provider. She loved taking selfies, enjoyed socializing and was always the “life of the party.” Her greatest joy was her son and spending time with her loving grandsons. She also enjoyed cooking and eating Chinese food, especially chicken fried rice. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and those whose lives she touched.
Her family will received friends today, Wednesday, June 15, 2022 beginning at 8:00 AM with a Christian service at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg, Texas. Christian burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Hector Renteria, Jazmyn Renteria, Priscilla Benavidez, Selena Renteria, Jeremiah Trevino, Freddy Trevino, Cody Romero and Christopher Garza. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
