Albertina "Tina" Martinez

Albertina “Tina” Martinez, 84, entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 24, 2021 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas. She was born on a Saturday, January 16, 1937 in Tiripetio, Michoacan, Mexico to Jesus Dominguez and Cirina Calvillo Ortiz. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband; Reynaldo Arturo Martinez.
Albertina is survived by her children; Martha Guerrero, Carmen (Abel) Espinoza, Sr. and Marcos Hernandez, Jr; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Tina as she was affectionately known, lived in Edinburg most of her life and was a devoted and loving mother taking care of her family and grandchildren. She often loved being outdoors and often times would be seen cutting her own grass. Tina will be greatly missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched.
Her family will receive friends at a Memorial Mass that will be shared with her loving husband; Reynaldo, on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn, Edinburg, Texas with the burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and Staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
