Victoria Garza

Victoria A. Garza, 93, entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Abri Senior Care in Edinburg, Texas. She was born on a Tuesday, April 29, 1930 in Atoyac, Jalisco, Mexico to Manuel Anaya and Maria Aguilar Anaya. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Guadalupe C. Garza, son; Alejandro Garza, son in law; David Herrera, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Victoria is survived by her loving children; Rogelio A. (Esther) Garza and Elvira G. Herrera, brother; Rodolfo (Maria) Anaya, 9 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 6 great- great- grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Victoria loved to bake, cook and was a great seamstress. She loved singing Christian songs and was a member of the Guadalupanas at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, June 26, 2023 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg, Texas. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Angel Joel Bermea, Angel James Bermea, Rodolfo Anaya, Manuel Anaya, Cris Anaya and Francisco Garza. Funeral service have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
