Sabino Zarate, 65, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at his residence in Edinburg. He was born December 30, 1946 in Edinburg, Texas to Benjamin Zarate and Leocadia Ochoa Zarate. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Sabino is survived by his wife of 37 years; Juanita Lara Zarate, sons; Sabino Zarate, Jr. of Weslaco, Larry Lee (Sylvia) Zarate of Ft. Worth, and Michael (Luisa) Zarate of Edinburg, brothers; Felipe Zarate and Jose (Olga)Zarate, sisters; Juana Quintanilla, Juanita De Leon, Guadalupe (Gilbert) Lozano, Maria (Federico) Tellez, Consuelo Wells, and Jesusa (Teodoro) Tellez, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews. He will truly be missed by all those who knew him and whose lives he touched.
A graveside service will be held Monday, December 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission, TX. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
