EDINBURG — Ronaldo “Ronnie” Ruben Hernandez, 46, entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born on Wednesday, September 24, 1969 in Laredo, Texas to Dionicio Hernandez, Jr. and Ramona Olga Garza Hernandez. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Ronnie is survived by his brothers; Ricardo (Belinda) Hernandez and Rene (Lisa) Hernandez, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In his early 20’s he worked for Mathis Police Department and Alamo Police Department as a patrolman. Ronnie was currently working for H.E.B. – North 10th in McAllen for the last 8 years. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers fishing and hunting. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, co-workers and all who knew him.
His family will receive friends today, Friday, February 19, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1302 East Champion Street in Edinburg. Services will conclude at church. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
