Rolandmichael Mendoza

Rolandmichael Mendoza, 31, entered eternal rest on Monday, April 9, 2024 in Edinburg, Texas. He was born on a Saturday, October 31, 1992 in McAllen, Texas to Rolando Mendoza and Micaela Rodriquez Mendoza. He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents; Juan Rogelio and Guadalupe V. Mendoza and maternal grandfather; Matias B. Rodriquez.

Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 11 years; Abigail V. Mendoza, children; Ethan Derek Mendoza, Wyatt Dylan Mendoza, Alenna Janice Mendoza and Maddox Jasmine Mendoza, father; Rolando Mendoza, mother; Micaela R. Mendoza, sisters; Samantha Anyssa Mendoza and Adrienne Elpida-Noemi Ramirez and maternal grandmother; Noemi A. Rodriquez.

Rolandmichael was a member of the S.E.R.T. Unit for the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department. He worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for several years. He was also a 2^nd generation firefighter who worked with the Edinburg, La Feria and Progresso Fire Departments. He enjoyed showing his truck in many truck shows and being a club member of the Texas Truck Nation and Skynet. Bar-B-Que, dancing and singing along to his favorite country music were some of his favorite past-times and hobbies. However, his greatest love in life was spending time with family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, son, nephew and friend and will be deeply missed by family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.

The Mendoza Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg, Texas. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1302 East Champion Street in Edinburg with Catholic burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Special thanks given to the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s  Office and Edinburg Fire Department. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Funeral Director/Manager and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
