Rogelio Salazar Jr, 69, was born in Edinburg, TX on 06/13/1954. He attended Lincoln Elementary, Edinburg High, and Pan-American where he was an All-Star Athlete. He was the best husband and father anyone could ask for. He never gave up on anyone. He was caring, loving, bold, and the strongest man. He had a gravitating personality. He welcomed all into his home, and treated them as family. He is survived in death by his wife of 47 years Herlinda Garza Salazar, daughter Lynda Veronica Salazar, son, Rogelio Kelo Salazar III (Angela) , daughter Vanessa Yvette Salazar (Dustin), sister Idolina Davis (Henry), Elizabeth "Lisa" Flores (Matias), Irma Peña (Tony) , sister-in-laws Elvira and Sara Garza, and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by Father, Rogerio Salazar, Mother Guadalupe Lopez Salazar, Brother Richard Salazar, Sister Emily Castaneda. Rogelio was the Owner and Director of Medical Billing at Healing Angel Healthcare, Inc. He loved riding motorcycles, golfing, sports, and mostly spending time with his wife and kids. He was a heart transplant recipient, and beat the odds with 11 years. He is a great kind loving hero to many who will truly be missed. Visitation and Rosary will be held Thursday 5/9/24 at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home from 4-8pm, rosary begins at 6pm.
