Roberto Casas, 76, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 18, 2012 at Solara Hospital in Edinburg. He was born April 6, 1936 in Santa Rita Ranch, Texas to Efrain Casas and Ofelia Garza.
Roberto is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Ramon Casas, sisters; Herlinda Casas- Cazares, Maria Ana Hernandez and Amanda Tijerina.
He is survived by his wife; Maria De Jesus Casas, sister; Paula (Servando) Casas Ruiz, numerous nieces and nephews.
The Casas Family received friends Monday, May 21, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. and a rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian burial followed to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
