Ricardo "Riche" Rene Villarreal, 67, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at McAllen Medical Center. He was born June 28, 1945 in Edinburg, TX to Juan Villarreal and Rebeca Gonzalez Villarreal.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother; Rey Villarreal.
Mr. Villarreal is survived by his wife of 43 years; Maria Irma Villarreal, son; Leonardo "Leo" (Eren) Villarreal, daughter; Lorena (Luis E.) Colon, III, brothers; Juan (Ofelia) Villarreal, Santiago (Maria) Villarreal, Guadalupe (Esperanza) Villarreal, sisters; Laura Rodriguez, Maria Luisa (Oscar) Cantu, Rosalva (Gilberto) Hernandez, Hilda (Beto) Ybarra, Dora Villarreal, Rebeca Alaniz, Noemi (Domingo) Cavazos, granddaughters; Evelyn Anahi Villarreal, Catarina Luz Colon, sister-in-law; Celia Villarreal, numerous nieces and nephews.
The Villarreal family will receive friends, Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian mass will be held Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission, TX.
Funeral services were entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
