Refugia Ulloa, 86, entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 4, 1929 to Teodoso Gomez and Juanita De Anda Gomez in Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andres Ulloa, and son, Tomas Ulloa.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosie (Fred) Garcia; Sisters, Juanita Gomez, Celia Reyes, and Luisa Banda; brothers, Esequel Gomez and Teodoso Gomez; Grandchildren, Matthew Aaron Gar, Andrea Nicole Garcia, and Krystle Christine Garcia, and Great-Granddaughter, Leah Rose Garcia.
Refugia lived in Edinburg most of her life and was a member of Rock of Ages. She was a great mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family.
Her family will receive friends Friday, August 28, 2015 from 5:00pm - 9:00pm with a prayer service to be held at 7:00pm in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Christian Service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian Burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be Matthew Garcia, Guadalupe Garcia, Fred Garcia, David Guerrero, Jesse Guerrero, and Santos Ulloa, Jr. Funeral Services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
