Raul Salinas, 58, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas. He was born on a Sunday, June 23, 1963 in Gilroy, California to Victorio Salinas, Jr and Maria Pena Salinas.
Left to cherish their memories together is his wife of 21 years, Celine Pardo, daughter; Barbara Barrientes, sons; Raul Salinas, Jr. and Randy Salinas, grandchildren; Fridah Salinas and Rowan Salinas, parents; Victorio Salinas, Jr and Maria Pena Salinas, brother; Ramiro (Anna) Salinas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Raul was a hardworking, humble man dedicating himself to his family as well as to his career. He spent 36 years in law enforcement, working for different agencies such as; City of La Joya, La Joya School District, Hidalgo County Sheriff Department and Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District. He was a general mechanic by trade and lived life to the fullest, enjoying the outdoors and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
His family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, for a memorial service from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Services will conclude after following the memorial service. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
