Ramiro Hector Ochoa, Jr.

Ramiro Hector Ochoa, Jr., 54, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at his residence in Edinburg, Texas. Hector was born on a Saturday, October 10, 1971 in Edinburg, Texas to Ramiro Hector Ochoa, Sr. and Elvira Garcia. He is preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his loving siblings; Ray Richard Ochoa and Marissa G. Ochoa, father; Ramiro Hector Ochoa, Sr. nephew; Steven Ochoa and nieces; Stephanie Ochoa and Celene Wong.

Hector enjoyed staying fit and working out. He was an avid collector of knives, flashlights, enjoyed cars and watching many car races. He had hobbies or “doing it yourself” projects, traveled extensively and a passion for cooking and bar-b-queing. However he especially enjoyed spending time with his siblings, making memories. He will truly missed by all those whose lives he touched.

The Ochoa Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Funeral Services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Funeral Director/Manager and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg, Texas
