Pablo S. Guzman, 90 entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Solara Hospital in McAllen, Texas. He was born on a Wednesday, April 5, 1933 in El Campo, Texas to Pedro Guman, Sr. and Antonia Saenz Guzman. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 54 years; Lucinda Martinez Guzman, brother; Pedro Guzman, Jr., sister; Maria Guzman and nephew; Carlos Trevino.
He is survived by his loving children; Belia (Orlando) Ochoa, Enedina Guzman, Enedelia Guzman, Elizabeth Guzman, Pablo (Miriam) Guzman, Jr, and Oralia (Patric) Ryan-Guzman, nephews, whom he loved and raised as his children; Enrique (Esmeralda) Trevino and Jesus Angel (Norma Linda) Canales, 8 grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Pablo was a hardworking man who loved to watch TV especially Western movies and old Mexican movies. He enjoyed gardening, doing yardwork and just enjoying nature and the outdoors. Pablo loved his family and was also the caretaker for his daughter, Enedina. Pablo will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.
The Guzman Family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road, Edinburg, Texas. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Pablo Guzman, Jr, Pablo Guzman, III, Daniel Guzman, Jesus Angel Canales, Gabriel Canales, Anthony Ochoa, Orlando Ochoa and Patric Ryan. Funeral services are under the direction of Johnny Garcia Funeral Director/Manager and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
