Nasaria Hernandez, 102, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Retama Manor Nursing Center in Edinburg. She was born August 2, 1910 in Mathis, Texas to Eligio Martinez and Crescencia Trevino.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Marcelino Hernandez, and daughter; Ramona Quintanilla Enriquez.
She is survived by her grandson; Guadalupe (Joaquina) Enriquez, 16 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
The Hernandez family will receive friends Friday, April 19, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Christian mass will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial with military honors will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, TX. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
