Maria Guadalupe Sanchez, 78, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Edinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 2, 1932 in Laredo, Texas to Pedro Alejandro and Hilaria Lopez. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Vicente Sanchez, brother; Pedro Alejandro and brother-in-law; Rodolfo Villarreal.
He is survived by his sons; Salvador (Maria R.) Sanchez, Julian (Lupita) Sanchez, Martin (Irma) Sanchez, Vicente (Asusena) Sanchez, Rafael (Mercedes) Sanchez, Socorro (Tomasa) Sanchez, Roberto (Ellamar) Sanchez, Arnoldo Sanchez, daughters; Elva (Javier) Gonzalez, Beatrice (Luis) Flores, sister; Herminia Villarreal, sister-on-law; Maria Isabel Alejandro, 46 grandchildren and 63 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
The Sanchez Family will receive friends Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary held at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian mass will be held Friday, October 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg.
