Margarita “Mague” Diaz, 79, entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. She was born September 20, 1931 to Isidro Garza and Julia Trevino.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son; Omar J. Diaz, brothers; Jesus Garza, Guadalupe Garza, Reynaldo Garza, sister; Florinda Gonzalez, and brother-in-law; Santiago Cruz.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years; Manuel Diaz, son; Jesus Manuel Diaz, sister; Irma Cruz and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Margarita loved to bake and cook. She was a loving spouse and mother. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
Visitation for Margarita will be today, November 9, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Christian mass will be Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
