Magdalena Reyna, 76, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 14, 2013 at Solara Hospital in McAllen. She was born November 21, 1936 in Kenedy, Texas to Alfonso Escamilla and Angelita Ramirez. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband; David Reyna, Jr.
Magdalena is survived by her son; Ricardo (Hilda) Reyna, daughters; Ludivina Reyna and Estela Brown, brothers; Isaias (Noelia) Escamilla, Moises (Elena) Escamilla, and Alfonso (Rosa) Escamilla, Jr., sisters; Guadalupe (Juan) Salinas, Anita (Jose Luis) Renteria, Elizabeth Gonzalez, Ernestina Reynero, Gloria (Fernando) Rodriguez, and Beatriz (Ignacio) Castilleja, 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
The Reyna family will receive friends, Friday, January 18, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. with a christian service at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, TX. Funeral services were entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
