Luis Trejo, 80, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Las Palmas Nursing Center in McAllen. He was born November 28, 1932 in Edinburg, Texas to Albino Trejo, Sr., and Candelaria Delgado. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Albino Trejo, Jr. and sister; Angelita Cerda.
Mr. Trejo is survived by his daughters; Melba (Mark) Hauck and Becky Garza, brothers; Alfonso Trejo and Amado Trejo, sister; Ester Morgan, 6 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
The Trejo family received friends, Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Christian mass will be held today, Monday, January 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Albino Trejo, Esteban Trejo, Albert Trejo, Alfirio Trejo, Alvaro Trejo, and Alonso Trejo. Funeral services were entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
