Leonel Martin Tijerina, 46, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at his residence in San Juan, Texas. He was born May 23, 1964 in Edinburg, Texas to Leonel Tijerina and Manuela Ramirez.
He is survived by his father, sons; Leonel Martin (Asley) Tijerina, Jr., Michael Anthony Tijerina, Mark Anthony Tijerina, brothers; Johnny Lopez, Leonardo (Maria N.) Tijerina, sister; Maria Luisa (David Lopez) Tijerina, grandson; Leonel Martin Tijerina, IIII, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Tijerina is preceded in death by his mother.
He will be deeply missed by all of his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
Visitation for Mr. Tijerina was held Friday, September 03, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a rosary held at 7:30 p.m.i n the Family Chapel at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian mass was held Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial followed to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers were Leonel Martin Tijerina, Michael Anthony Tijerina, Mark Anthony Tijerina, Johnny Lopez, Leonardo Tijerina, Sr., Leonardo Tijerina, Jr., and David Lopez. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home.
