Julian Fragoso, II, 95, entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at his daughter’s residence in Edinburg, Texas. He was born on a Sunday, April 19, 1931 in Weslaco, Texas to Julian Fragoso, Sr. and Olivia Herrera. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife; Anita Fragoso and grandchildren, twins; Jennifer and Jeannette Vargas and grandson; Jaime Fragoso.

He is survived by his loving children; Olivia F. (Rolando) Vargas, Ernestina Fragoso, Julian (Diana) Fragoso, III., Melva (Robert Rose) Fragoso, Rolando Fragoso and Martina (Natalio) Campos, 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was the owner of Fragoso Service Station and Trucking Company, which serviced his community for many years. Always serving the Lord, he was a faithful member of Valley Worship Center in McAllen, Texas for over 50 years. He is now reunited with the love of his life, Anita, family and friends are left with wonderful memories to cherish and a shining example of love, based on the 70 years of marriage he spent with Anita. He left a legacy of always being faithful and leading by example. He will be missed by many whose lives he touched.

The Fragoso family will receive friends on Thursday, August 13, 2026 from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM at Valley Worship Center, 4501 North McColl Road, McAllen, Texas. Christian service will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Diamond Fragoso, Federico Jeziel Andrade, Julian Fragoso, IV., Jay Julian Fragoso, Freddie Rivera, Jr. and Robert Rose. Honorary pallbearer will be: Ezekiel Fragoso. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Valley Worship Center in honor of our Dad. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
