Juanita “La India” Moreno, 90, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Edinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 22, 1922 in Edinburg, Texas to Manuel Tagle and Guadalupe Guzman Tagle.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister and son-in-law; Jose Palomarez.
Juanita is survived by her husband of 33 years; Tereso De Jesus Moreno, sons; Manuel (Patricia) Dimas, Armando (Becky) Arevalo, and Jose Juan (Mari) Lopez, daughters; Eva Palomarez, Teresa Farias, Guadalupe Garcia and Yolanda (Wayne) Deimler, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
The Moreno family will receive friends Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Christian Mass will be held Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services were entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
