Juana "Juanita" L. Moreno, 89, entered eternal rest on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Solara Hospital in McAllen. She was born on Monday, January 30, 1928 in Tamaulipas, Mexico to Pablo Lopez and Maria Reyes Lopez. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Manuel Moreno, daughter; Reynalda Torres, brothers; Geronimo Molina and Guadalupe Lopez and sister; Victoria Lopez.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons; Alberto (Anadelia) Moreno and Jesus (Esperanza) Moreno, daughter; Eva (Cruz) Colunga, son-in-law; Joaquin Torres, sister; Ramona Lopez, 16 - grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed attending to her plants and feeding her birds. She also enjoyed watching her novelas, but her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Her family received family and friends on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic Mass will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
