Juan Andres Ramirez

Juan Andres Ramirez, 86, entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Colonial Manor Advanced Rehabilitation in Pharr, Texas. He was born on a Friday, July 16, 1937 in Edinburg, Texas to Andres Ramirez and Rafaela Ochoa Ramirez. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Juan is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Elida Gomez Ramirez, son; Eloy (Estella) Garza, 3 granddaughters; Melissa Garza, Susan Garza and Hilda Garza and 5 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Juan was a friendly man, known for his love of helping other people. He enjoyed gardening and taking care of his yard as well as having his coffee at the local Whataburger, watching Fox News and Politics. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
The Ramirez family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM to be prayed at the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home. Services for Mr. Ramirez will conclude after the funeral service. The family has entrusted Johnny Garcia and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home with funeral services.
