Josefa M. Carreon-Flores, 89, entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at her residence in Edinburg. She was born March 22, 1922 in Mexico to Victor Martinez and Eduviges Nanez.
Mrs. Flores is preceded in death by her parents, sons; Encarnacion Carreon and Elidio Carreon, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory is her sons; Margarito (Anita) Carreon, Hermilo (Yolanda) Carreon, Jose F. Carreon, all of Edinburg, daughters; Ana (Pedro) Espericueta from Bakersfield, CA, Leticia Cedillo of Edinburg, 12 grandchildren ,15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She will truly be missed by all her family friends and all those whose lives she touched.
The Carreon Family received friends Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian Mass will be held today, May 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr, Texas. Having the honor of serving as pallbearers will be Noel Carreon, Javier Carreon, Victor Carreon, Jose F. Carreon, Rogelio Morin, and Javier Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers will be Jaime Espericueta, and Margarito Carreon Jr. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
