Josefa Capetillo

Josefa L. Capetillo, 86, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Edinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born May 5, 1925 in Mexico to Hipolito Lopez and Sixta Lopez.
Josefa is preceded in death by her husband; Jose De La Luz Capetillo, daughter; Soledad Cavazos, and son-in-law; Wencelado Cavazos.
She is survived by her sons; Pedro (Trinidad) Capetillo, Luz (Juana) Capetillo, and Ricardo (Maria) Capetillo, daughters; Cristina (Rodney) Fischer and Margarita Capetillo, 25 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
Josefa loved crocheting and embroidering. She also loved tending to her plants and her Chihuahuas; Bebe, Brownie, and Capi.
The Capetillo Family will receive friends today, Thursday, April 5, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, April 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Val-Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
