Jose Jesus Rodriguez

Jose Jesus Rodriguez, 77, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas. He was born on a Monday, September 11, 1944 in Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato, Mexico to Jose Ventura Rodriguez and Dolores Moralez-Rodriguez. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister; Magdalena Long.
Jose is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Elida Rodriguez, children; Everardo Valle, Jessica Ann Rodriguez, Debra Ann Noyola, Jose Jeus Rodriguez, Juan Carlos Rodriguez,Janet Monica Rodriguez and Christian Rodriguez, sister; Maria del Carmen Rodriguez, 14 Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jose was a hardworking man, spending the last 3 years being the owner and operator of Good Luck Trucking. Jose also enjoyed carpentry, working construction, traveling and was known to many as a jokester. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
His family will receive friends on Monday, April 4, 2022, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
