Jose Manuel Puentes, Jr., 18, entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 1, 2011 in Mission, Texas. He was born on October 4, 1992 in Fort Pierce, Florida to Jose Manuel Puentes, Sr., and Lydia Reyna Puentes.
He is survived by his parents, son; Christian Eli Puentes, sisters; Laura Elena Puentes, Maricela Puentes, grandparents; Eleno Puentes, Pablo Reyna and Paula Reyna.
Jose graduated May 2010 from OSM. He worked for Burger King while attending Kaplan College in McAllen. He loved fishing, hunting and the outdoors, but his greatest love was spending time with his son. He will truly be missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
The Puentes Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian Mass will be held Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
