John A Runkel Jr., 52, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at his residence in Edinburg, TX. He was born August 9, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas to John A Runkle Sr and Catherine Bertha Hauck. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years; Margarita Q. Runkle, sons; Rolando (Rachel) Garza, Jr., Samuel J. Smiles, John A Runkle, III, daughers; Veronica Leal, Sara Mae (John Michael) Renteria, brother; Mike Runkle, sisters; Catherine McLemore, Robin Vandermuellen, Mary Lucille Runkle- Cochrane and 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services were entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home.
