Edinburg - Ismael "Smiley" Camarillo, Jr., 30, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at his residence in Edinburg. He was born on Thursday, August 7, 1986 in San Juan, Texas to Ismael Camarillo and Dominga Meza. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesus Jose and Feliberta Meza.
Smiley is survived by his wife, Raquel Navarro Camarillo; children, Heaven Angel Camarillo, Damon Da'Shine Camarillo and Hailey Sophia Camarillo; mother, Domina "D" (Juan) Meza-Telles; father; Ismael Camarillo; sister, Priscilla Camarillo, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Smiley worked as an air condition technician and his hobbies were rapping and doing poetry, but his greatest joy was spending time with his children and family.
His family will receive friends today, Friday, December 23, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Christian services will be held on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Peace with Pastor David Contreras officiating. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
