Isabel Moreno, 62, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. She was born December 6, 1949 in Mexico to Sixto Rivera and Isabel Lopez Rivera. She is preceded in death her parents.
Isabel is survived by her husband of 34 years; Alfredo Moreno, sons; Alfredo (Vanessa) Moreno and Sergio (Rosa) Moreno, daughters; Adriana Moreno and Jessica (Efren) Moreno-Cardenas, brothers; Florentino Rivera, Vicente Rivera and Ricardo Rivera, sisters; Anita Morin, Roelia Perez, Patricia Barrera and Isidra Lopez, 11 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Isabel enjoyed watching “novelas”. She loved attending to church, but her greatest love of all was caring and spending time with her family. She will be truly missed by all those who knew her and whose lives she touched.
The Moreno family received friends on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Christian Mass was held Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Faysville. Christian burial will follow to La Casita Cemetery in La Casita, TX. Having the distinguished honor of serving as pallbearers were Alfredo Moreno, Sergio Moreno, Efren Cardenas, Antonio Moreno, Daniel Moreno, Abelardo Molina and Alfredo Moreno Sr. Funeral services were entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
