Irma Rosas

Irma Rosas, 86, entered eternal rest on Monday, December 8, 2025 at her daughter’s residence in Edinburg. She was born on a Sunday, April 23, 1939 in Mexico City, Mexico to Juan Rosas and Josefina Perez Rosas. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, sisters, sons; Juan Antonio Azuara and Arnulfo Azuara, and son-in-law; Cesar Lozano.

Irma is survived by her children; Jorge (Celina) Azuara, Ildefonso (Karina) Hernandez, Irma Lozano, Ledia Soledad Hernandez, Zulema Olivia Hinojosa, Iris Yadira Hinojosa and Johnny Anthony (Lori) Hernandez, 18 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, sister, numerous nieces and nephews.

She lived in Edinburg most of her life and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg, devoted to praying the Holy rosary daily. She enjoyed traveling, playing Loteria, cooking, dancing and watching novelas. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend who always attended to others needs before herself. She also enjoyed talking to her family and friends on the phone and reminiscing of their younger years.

Her cremated remains will be inurned at their cemetery in Horcones, Veracruz to be with her family. Funeral services were entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg, Texas.
