Gregorio Rubalcava, Jr.

Gregorio “Greg” Rubalcava, Jr., 53, entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center Emergency Room. He was born on a Saturday, November 6, 1971 in San Juan, Texas to Gregorio Rubalcava, Sr. and Maria Carrisalez Rubalcava. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers; Juan Manuel Rubalcava and Cesar Joel Rubalcava.

He is survived by his loving children; Kerry Rubalcava, Samantha (Nicolas) Strong and Andi Marie Rubalcava, 6 grandchildren; Kevin Rubalcava, Aiden Rubalcava, Mandy Rubalcava, Avah Rubalcava, twins; Hudson Gregory Strong and Elliott Morrison Strong, siblings; Alfredo (Anita) Rubalcava, Pedro (Sylvia) Rubalcava, Miguel Angel Rubalcava, Elvira (Renato) Reyes and Pablo Celso (Juanita) Rubalcava, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Greg was a man who enjoyed life, going to the beach and watching movies. Being outdoors and fishing were some favorite pastimes he enjoyed. He was the owner of PS Fitness which came from a love of staying fit and going to the gym. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

A celebration of Life for Greg will be announced by the family to be scheduled at a later date. Funeral services are under the direction of Johnny Garcia, Funeral Director/Manager, at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
