Gerarda Munoz, 90, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 7, 2013 at her residence in Edinburg, Texas. She was born October 13,1922 in Orange Grove, Texas to Serapio Munoz and Simona Munoz.
Gerarda is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Aciano Munoz, Rumaldo Munoz, and sister; Maria Moreno.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews.
The Munoz family will receive friends, Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Christian mass will be held Monday, June 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos, Texas. Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
