Francisco Badillo entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 12, 1932 in Edinburg, Texas to Simon Badillo and Maria Zavala-Badillo.
Mr. Badillo is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 56 years; Florencia Badillo, son; Alejandro Badillo, Sr., sisters; Juanita and Rosita Badillo.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons; Frank (Maria) Badillo, Jr., Rogelio Badillo, Ricardo Badillo, Daniel (Maribel) Badillo, Sr., daughters; Hermelinda Garza, Yolanda (Lenny) Burr, Maggie (Marty) Stephen, Diana Badillo, Delia (Jose Luis Gomez) Badillo, brothers; Guadalupe (Leonarda) Badillo, Fidencio (Juanita) Badillo, daughter-in-law; Gloria Badillo, 30-grandchildren, 36- great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He will truly be missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
The Badillo Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian mass will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services were entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
