Francisca R. Guzman, 90, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 17, 2012 in Rockwall, Texas. She was born June 16, 1922 in Edinburg, TX to Esteban Rosales and Santos Vega.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Manuel Guzman, brothers; Cecilio Rosales, Jesus Rosales and sister; Geronima Sanchez.
Francisca is survived by hers sons; Luis (Yolanda) Guzman of Rockwall, Texas and Frank (Janey) Guzman of Plano, Texas, grandchildren; Sonia Stubbs, Nancy Guzman, Manny Guzman and Anthony Guzman, great grandchildren; Malachi Stubbs, Isaac Gutierrez, Grace Stubbs, numerous nieces and nephews.
The Guzman family received friends Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. A Christian mass was held Friday, September 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial followed to Val-Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas. Having the distinguished honor to serve at pallbearers; Luis Guzman, Frank Guzman, Manny Guzman, Anthony Guzman, Mark Stubbs and Nancy Guzman. Funeral services were entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
