Eliseo Mora Rodriguez

Eliseo Mora Rodriguez, 76, entered eternal rest on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born on a Thursday, July 18, 1946 in Mexico to Leocadio Rodriguez and Josefa Mora Rodriguez. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Ernesto Rodriguez and two sisters; Yolanda Rodriguez and Gregoria Rodriguez.
Eliseo is survived by his loving wife of 50 years; Delia Rodriguez, children; Antonio (Sujey) Guajardo, Jr., Alejandra Rodriguez and Eduardo Rodriguez, brother; Isidro Rodriguez and 8 Grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He worked most of his life working in contruction as well as a being a truck driver. He loved to go fishing and the casinos to sometimes play the “maquinitas” or slot machines. But his favorite thing to do was spend time with his family enjoying BBQ’s together. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.
The Rodriguez family will receive friends on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg. Catholic burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1501 East Richardson Road, Edinburg. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Manager/Funeral Director and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
