Edwin Andrew Bergman, Jr., 89, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at his residence in Edinburg. He was born October 24, 1921 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Edwin Andrew Bergman, Sr., and Etta Mae Lathrop. Mr. Bergman is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sons; Drew Lawrence, Kim (Lydia Rowe) Bergman, daughters; Sherry (Jim) Wohletz, Michael Mae (Fernando, Jr.) Bergman-Jasso, sister; Betty Sparn, 7 grandchildren , 2 great-grandchildren, his dog; “Woof” and cat; “Pickle”.
Mr. Bergman owned and operated Orange County Building Company and Bergman Builders in Colorado. He was a great handy man. He loved to drink his coffee and eat eggs. He was also an avid reader.
The Bergman family will receive friends Wednesday, September 28, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with a service at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
