Dominga Morales

Dominga Morales, 81, entered eternal rest on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg, Texas. Dominga was born on a Sunday, August 16, 1942 in Edinburg, Texas to Reyes Morales, Sr. and Maria Sanchez Morales. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Augustin Morales, Juan Morales, David (Maria Teresa) Morales and Matilde (Maximina) Morales, sisters; Valentina Morales, Marcela Morales, Maria Estella Morales, Eulalia Zamarripa and Clara Montiel  and brother in law; Rodolfo Rodriguez.

Dominga is survived by her loving siblings; brothers; Antonio (Alicia) Morales and Reyes (Alma Rosa) Morales, Jr., sisters; Eustacia Morales and Virginia Rodriguez as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg, Texas her entire life. She worked at the Hidalgo County Tax Assessor Office for over 40 years. She enjoyed gardeninig in her spare time and especially loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

The Morales family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Chapel Service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 1701 East Richardson Road in Edinburg. Funeral services have been entrusted to Johnny Garcia, Funeral Director/Manager and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
