David Wayne Benedict

David W. Benedict, 76 passed away on Sunday August 4, 2019 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born on Thursday, December 31, 1942 in Los Angeles, California to Irwin Arnold Benedict and Billie Ida Loraine Ragsdale. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife; Ruby Celia Arredondo Benedict, son; David Wayne Benedict, brother; Jeffery Mark Benedict.
David is survived by his daughter; Celia L. Benedict.
Mr. Benedict was a retired public school counselor. He will be remembered for his knowledge of mathematics, philosophy and the Zen way of life. He enjoyed spending his retirement traveling and exploring nature. His family will have a private ceremony at a later date.
