EDINBURG — Dalia Iris Ochoa, 56, entered eternal rest on Friday, September 5, 2014 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen. She was born on January 29, 1958 to Moises and Rosa Olivarez Pacheco.
Iris is survived by her loving children, Rita Yvette Ochoa, Javier Ochoa, Jr., Gabriel Ochoa, Sr. and Daniel Corral; grandchildren, Victoria and Adriana Chatman, Scarlet Ochoa, Marlon Lizama, Gabriel Ochoa, Jr., Orlando Ochoa; parents, Moises and Rosa Pacheco; brother, Michael (Katie) Pacheco and sister, Edith Pacheco.
Iris was a loving and caring person who did for others first. She was a caregiver for several years working in the home health care industry. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and watching football, especially the “Dallas Cowboys”. Her greatest joy was supporting her grandchildren in everything they did and loved spending time with them. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but her legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of all of us.
Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. with a memorial service to be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
