Cynthia “Cyndi” Sue Flores, 56, entered eternal rest on Monday, June 30, 2025 at her residence in Edinburg, Texas. She was born on a Friday, July 11, 1969 in Bad Kreuznech, Rheinland-Pfals, Germany to Ronald Griffin and Sue Bowles. She is preceded in death by her mother.
Cyndi is survived by her loving husband of 33 years; Elisandro “Leo” Flores, children; Brackie (Tania) Griffin, Delton (Samantha) Griffin, Tampa Flores and Elisandro “Nico” Flores, father; Ronald (Betty) Griffin, brothers; Ronald Griffin and Kyle Griffin, sister; Velva Griffin, grandchildren; Nevaeh Griffin, Nadia Griffin, Liam Griffin and Chandler Griffin.
Cyndi was a happy person who enjoyed dancing and listening to music. The holidays were her favorite times as she loved to decorate for each holiday. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt who enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched.
The Flores family will receive friends on Thursday, July 10, 2025 rom 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home, 322 East Kuhn Street, Edinburg, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 501 East Kuhn Street in Edinburg with a burial to follow at the RGV State Veterans Cemetery, 2520 Inspiration Road, Mission, Texas. Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers will be: Elisandro Flores, Brackie Griffin, Delton Griffin, Nico Flores, Tampa Flores and Guadalupe Flores, Jr. Funeral services are under the direction of Johnny Garcia, Funeral Director/Manager and staff at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
