Clara Montiel, 71, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at her residence in Edinburg, Texas. She was born August 12, 1940 in Edinburg, Texas to Reyes Moralez, Sr., and Maria Sanchez Morales.
Clara is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Juan Montiel, brothers; Agustin Moralez, Juan Moralez, and sister; Maria Estela Moralez.
She is survived by her son; Daniel (Mirna) Luna, brothers; David Moralez, David Moralez, Antonio Moralez, Reyes Moralez, Jr., and Matilde Moralez, sisters; Eustacia Moralez, Marcela Moralez, Dominga Moralez, Valentina Moralez, Virginia (Rodolfo) Moralez- Rodriguez, and Lala (Raul) Moralez- Zamarripa, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Clara worked for the Hidalgo County Tax Office for over 15 years until her retirement. She will truly be missed by all her family, friends, and those whose lives she touched.
The Montiel Family received friends, Monday, December 19, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Family Chapel at Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg. Christian Mass will be held today, December 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Christian burial will follow to Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg.
