Carmela S. Arce, 58, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 30, 2010 at her home in Edinburg, Texas. She was born September 22, 1951 in Edinburg, Texas to Angel Salazar and Teresa Campero.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband; Genaro Arce, daughters; Sally Olivarez, Lilly (Alex) Sausedo, Yolanda Olivarez, sisters; Alicia Strosniter, Stella Garza, Lupe Almaraz, Elva Ramirez, 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday, June 4, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr, Texas. Funeral services have been entrusted to Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home in Edinburg, Texas.
